Stanley Ambulance received approval from the Mountrail County Local Emergency Planning Commission (LEPC) for all new Surface Pro tablets.
Each ambulance carries 2 tablets: one for documenting the care we provide to patients in an electronic health record and one mounted in the front for Mountrail County's computer aided dispatch (CAD) system. CAD allows the EMS providers in the ambulance to see locations of calls and other units, read the information about their call, and document their own times. The total cost of replace for the 6 computers is estimated to be $7,600 which will be paid with LEPC funds.
The LEPC is a commission comprised of Mountrail County emergency response organizations and private industries. It is led by Mountrail County Emergency Management and works to enhance the deliver of emergency services.
